How VRT turns out to become more data-driven?
Media consumption is radically changing. As VRT, the Flemish public broadcaster in Belgium, we focus on digital acceleration. We invest more in mobile media, work more personalized and more on demand. This requires a data driven approach and mindset, not only from the digital teams, but from the entire VRT. This is a challenge, but we are happy to share the first successes and achievements with you, taking into account the context of a public broadcaster.
Emilie Nenquin started working for VRT in 2017 as Head of Data & Intelligence. She built up a high-performance team of data and personalization experts. Under her leadership, the team developed a data strategy, a data platform and with that the foundation for a data driven VRT.
Before VRT, Emilie Nenquin worked over 15 year in the financial sector. At ING Belgium she headed different teams with a focus on data exploitation, digital personalization and customer experience. She is convinced data insights are crucial in order to take the right decisions and to deliver an outstanding user experience to the consumers.
